Paramecium growing in the jar.
I added some yeasts to the sample (some saccharomyces) and they are happily growing now. Moreover a lot of bacteria are also present widening the menu. Well, the Paramecium is a little squashed between the two glasses but it is OK.
I already wrote about it some video ago.
What is interesting to see here is the opening and closing of contractile vacuola and their radial channels after the closure and filling it again. The others are food vacuola, and as you can see it was eating a lot.
